1 Oz Rarities Mint Liberty Type 2 Round BU

Harder to find vintage round. Type 1 rounds have a smooth edge and the text "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA" on the obverse, while Type 2 rounds have reeded edges with the text "RARITIES" on the obverse.

Obverse: The obverse features Adolph A. Weinman’s classic design of Lady Liberty draped in an American flag, carrying branches of laurel and oak, symbolizing civil and military glory. At the top, the word "LIBERTY" is inscribed, while the name of the mint, "RARITIES MINT" can be found at the bottom.

Reverse: The central feature of the reverse is a left-facing eagle along with the Liberty Bell. Inscribed across the top is "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA". Underneath the eagle is the purity and content of ".999 FINE SILVER". The weight of "ONE TROY OUNCE" is inscribed along the bottom edge. Eight stars decorate the space between the upper and lower inscriptions.
