1985 1 Oz Rarities Mint Liberty Replica Round PF

The 1985-dated Liberty is part of a 4-round set produced by the Rarities Mint that year. The other three rounds are the California Bear, the Peace, and the Morgan replica rounds. Exact mintage is unknown, but other 4-round sets had stated maximum mintages of between 5,000 and 10,000.

Obverse: The obverse features Adolph A. Weinman’s classic design of Lady Liberty draped in an American flag, carrying branches of laurel and oak, symbolizing civil and military glory. At the top, the word "LIBERTY" is inscribed, while the name of the mint, "RARITIES MINT" can be found at the bottom. The design splits the year "1985".

Reverse: The obverse features the Rarities Mint logo with a sunrise in the background. The weight and composition of "ONE TROY OUNCE .999 + PURE" are inscribed at the bottom. 

Edge: The edge is reeded except for a smooth surface at the bottom, which may contain a serial number. Some rounds were minted without the serial number.
