Rare vintage round!

Obverse: The central image on the obverse features a Phrygian Cap with rays emanating from behind it. The word “LIBERTAD” is engraved across the base of the cap. This image was on the 8 Reales coins from 1824 to 1897.

Reverse: The central feature of the reverse is the phrase "VIVA MEXICO" in scripted letters. The year "1982" is inscribed below that. An outer band encircles the central text and specifies the weight of "UNA ONZA TROY" at the top and the composition of ",999 PLATA PURA" at the bottom. Delicate scrollwork separates the two inscriptions. The mint mark "WWM" is located beneath the date.
