1981 1 Oz Sunshine Mint Silver Eagle Round BU

Hard to find vintage round. Serial numbered on the edge.

Obverse: The obverse features a beautiful design of an eagle with wings spread out wide, soaring across the setting sun. The date of "1981"  is inscribed above the eagle amid the rays of the sun. Two stars flank the eagle on either side.  The phrase "SUNSHINE" is inscribed at the top, referencing the mint, while the term "SILVER" is inscribed below.

Reverse: The central feature of the reverse is the Sunshine Mint logo, which is a sunrise scene. Immediately below the sunrise is the word "ONE". Underneath it are the words "TROY OUNCE" in a smaller font located inside an oval. At the very bottom is the purity and content of ".999 FINE SILVER". The company name "SUNSHINE MINING" is inscribed at the top.

Edge: The edge is reeded, but a smooth section bears a 5-digit serial number.
