1 Oz SilverTowne Knife Collectors Sharp People Round BU

Minted by SilverTowne to celebrate the Knife Collecting community. The rounds were minted during the 1980s. The mintage is unknown but the rounds are rare.

Obverse: The central feature of the obverse is the phrase "KNIFE COLLECTORS ARE SHARP PEOPLE". A bowie knife is shown underneath the word "KNIFE" while a pocket knife is depicted above the word "PEOPLE". Stars surrounding the outer rim and scrollwork underneath the phrase provide a decorative effect. 

Reverse: The reverse design has an eagle perched on a branch with the weight and purity designation of "ONE OUNCE .999 FINE SILVER" curved around the top of the piece along with the SilverTowne trademark logo beneath the eagle's talons. The location of the mint, "WINCHESTER INDIANA", is inscribed on the left.
