1 Oz Johnson Matthey Freedom Slavery Round PF

Part of a set of 10 rounds celebrating Constitutional rights.  Proof like.

Obverse: The obverse depicts a slave who has been freed. He holds the broken chains in his upraised right hand, while a sledgehammer rests against his left leg. In the background, his family watches with joy. The phrase "FREEDOM" is inscribed at the top with the matching phrase "FROM SLAVERY" at the bottom.

Reverse: The reverse of the round is the standard reverse found on many Johnson Matthey rounds.  The name of the mint, "JOHNSON MATTHEY" is inscribed at the top.  The central portion is taken up with the inscription "ASSAYERS REFINERS/1 OUNCE TROY".  The phrase denoting the content "FINE SILVER" is inscribed immediately below that in large, scripted letters.  The purity of "999" is located beneath that phrase.  Johnson Matthey's mint mark of two squares, one containing a "JM" and the other containing a pickaxe and hammer inside of an oval, is found at the bottom.
