Minted by Johnson Matthey to celebrate the centennial of the Statue of Liberty. Uncommon round.

Obverse: The obverse features a family of settlers looking to the west, with a 13-star American flag located to the left. They are standing on a map of the continental United States. A beaded circle decorated the border. The phrase "FREEDOM" is inscribed at the top with the matching phrase "THE AMERICAN WAY" at the bottom.

Reverse: The reverse depicts an elaborate scale. The date of "1986" is found to the left, while "USA" is located on the right. The mint, "JOHNSON MATTHEY" arches across the top.
