1986 1 Oz Johnson Matthey Montana Big Sky Round BU

Rare Johnson Matthey round.

Obverse: The obverse of the round shows the outline of the state of Montana with the words "TREASURE STATE" inscribed within. The state's name, "MONTANA" is located at the top, and the date "1986" can be found at the bottom. 

Reverse: The reverse of the round is a modified version of the standard reverse found on many Johnson Matthey rounds.  The phrase  "BIG SKY COUNTRY" is inscribed at the top with the weight of "ONE TROY OUNCE" found immediately below.  Below that, the content "FINE SILVER" is inscribed in scripted letters.  Johnson Matthey's mint mark of two squares, one containing a "JM" and the other containing a pickaxe and hammer inside of an oval, is found at the bottom. The purity of "999" is located immediately above the logo.
