Obverse: The obverse features the patriotic image of a continental soldier standing on a rock holding a musket. The American flag provides the background for the image. Text encircles the outer edge which reads “CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHT TO BEAR ARMS”.

Reverse: The central feature of the reverse is the text from the 2nd Amendment which reads "A WELL REGULATED MILITIA, BEING NECESSARY TO THE SECURITY OF A FREE STATE, THE RIGHT OF THE PEOPLE TO KEEP AND BEAR ARMS, SHALL NOT BE INFRINGED". The weight, purity, and content of "1 TROY OUNCE .999 SILVER" is inscribed immediately below the text separated by 5 stars. "GOLDEN STATE MINT" can be found inscribed at the bottom of the inner circle. The outer rim is in inscribed with "NO FREE MAN SHALL EVER BE DEBARRED THE USE OF ARMS" along the top and "THOMAS JEFFERSON" along the bottom.
