1/2 Oz GG Mining Silver Eagle Round BU

Hard to find round!  Not much is known about GG Mining, the manufacturer of the round, or the date it was minted.  The motif of the eagle was common in the 1970s and 1980s.

Obverse: The obverse features an eagle in flight.  Four stars are located above the eagle as well as a star on either side. The upper inscription states "SILVER" which is completed by the lower inscription of "EAGLE". 

Reverse: The central feature of the reverse is a small circle with the letters "GG" in the middle, the logo for the company. The weight of  "ONE HALF TROY OUNCE" surrounds this inner circle.  The name of the company "GG MINING" is inscribed at the top while the purity and content of ".999+ FINE SILVER" are located at the bottom. 

Edge: The edge is smooth. The weight and purity are inscribed at the bottom and read "1/2 OZ .999 FINE".
