First year of Britannia's with the image of King Charles III. 

Obverse: The obverse features Martin Jenning's left-facing portrait of His Majesty King Charles. Inscriptions around the rim read the Latin phrase "D · G · REX · F · D", the denomination of "2 POUNDS", and the king's title "CHARLES III". The artist's initials "MJ" are located below the neck of the monarch. The background has raised texturing instead of a mirrored finish.

Reverse: The reverse of the coin depicts the standing Britannia figure designed by Philip Nathan. It shows a female figure on a rocky promontory, wearing a Corinthian helmet, her robes billowing out, caught in a sea wind. One hand She holds a trident in one hand honoring Britain’s naval prowess while the other hand holds an olive branch with a round shield bearing the Union Jack symbol. Inscriptions around the rim starting at the bottom left contain the name of the series "BRITANNIA", the year "2023", and the weight and composition of "1 OZ .999 FINE SILVER". The artist's last name "NATHAN" is inscribed at the bottom. Security features include a background with a wave-like pattern, a holograph inset in a circle at the lower left, lines engraved on the shield, and micro-inscriptions along the rim.
