Combined mintage of 200,000 for both the Moscow and St. Petersburg mints. The St. Petersburg Mint is historically significant. Consequently, coins minted at that location are valued slightly higher than coins minted at the Moscow mint.
Obverse: The obverse depicts Saint George the Victorious sitting on horseback while spearing a dragon. No lettering is inscribed, producing a minimalist effect on the coin.
Reverse: The reverse from 2016 and later features the current Coat of Arms of Russia. The top of the coin is inscribed with "РОССИЙСКАЯ ФЕДЕРАЦИЯ" (Russian Federation), while the inscription underneath the Coat of Arms reads "БАНК РОССИИ" (Bank of Russia). The denomination of "3 РУБЛЕЙ" (Three rubles) and the year of issue "2021" are located immediately below. The precious metal content and purity of "AG 999" are located in the lower left, with the weight of "31,1" inscribed in the lower right. The mintmark is located on the rim to the right above the weight. E. V. Kramskaya designed this version of the reverse. This coin was minted at the Moscow Mint (MMD).
