2021 1 Oz Congo Gorilla BU

Obverse: The obverse design features a male gorilla striking an aggressive pose with two fists planted on the ground. Sharp boulders are depicted on the right while vines and branches arch overhead.  At the bottom of the gorilla’s image is the inscription “CONGO SILVERBACK GORILLA”. The weight, purity, and content of "ONE OUNCE .999 SILVER" are inscribed at the top, while the date "2021" can be located immediately below the gorilla.

Reverse: The coin's reverse side features the official coat of arms for the Republic of Congo. "REPUBLIQUE DU CONGO" is inscribed above the coat of arms, while the denomination, "500 FRANCS CFA" is inscribed below.
