2021 1 Oz AOCS Sovereign Nation Sioux Round PF

Fourth in the Sioux Buffalo Series. Minted as an APMEXclusive® round by 9FineMint. 

Obverse: The obverse depicts a beautiful portrait of a Sioux warrior. He is outfitted in ceremonial dress, with a large headdress, and a beautiful ornate sash. He is wearing a gold ring on his finger. The inscription at the top reads "SIOUX CHIEF". The bottom inscription contains the denomination, purity, content, weight, and year. It reads "ONE DOLLAR - .999 SILVER - ONE OUNCE - 2021" and is flanked on either side by feathers.

Reverse: The reverse depicts a 19th-century Indian war shield. On the shield are two buffaloes colliding in combat as well as a tepee and banner with the name of the tribe. The eight tepees represent the districts of the Oglala Sioux reservation. The upper inscription reads "SOVEREIGN NATION" while "AMERICA" is inscribed at the bottom.
