1 Oz APMEX San Diego Zoo Polar Bear Round BU

APMEX partnered with the San Diego Zoo to produce this series of silver rounds. The mintage is unknown.

Obverse: The obverse features a polar bear staring straight ahead. The inscription "POLAR BEAR" is located to the left while the weight, purity, and content of "1 OZ .999 FINE AG" are found at the right.

Reverse: The reverse features the logo of the San Diego Zoo Wildlife Alliance. It depicts stylized images of a lion and a rhinoceros. The inscription "SAN DIEGO ZOO" is found at the upper edge while "WILDLIFE ALLIANCE" is inscribed below.
