Obverse: The central design is Queen Elizabeth II as depicted by Ian Rank Broadley. She is encircled by an inscription bearing her name "QUEEN ELIZABETH II" at the top, the name of the issuing country "TUVALU" and the denomination "1 DOLLAR" to the right, and the date "2020" at the bottom. The weight, purity, and content of "1 OZ .9999 AG" is located at the lower left.

Reverse:  The reverse features a rendition of Joe Rosenthal's picture of six Marines raising an American flag at the summit of Iwo Jima's Mount Suribachi. The inscription across the top reads "IWO JIMA 75th ANNIVERSARY". There is a "75" to the left of the flag and the date "MMXX" to the right. The Perth Mint mint mark "P" is located on the rim to the left.
