Obverse: On the obverse of the coin is the effigy of Queen Elizabeth II. This coin collection uses the fourth-generation right-profile portrait from Ian Rank-Broadley that was created in 1998. The effigy is surrounded by two feathers. Inscribed around the outer edge of the obverse is the term "EASTERN CARIBBEAN CENTRAL BANK" from left to right across the top. From left to right across the bottom are the purity "1 OZ .999 FINE SILVER", "QUEEN ELIZABETH II", and the denomination "TWO DOLLARS".
Reverse: The 2018 reverse features a pair of flamingos facing each other and huddled closely together. Their heads are touching forming the appearance of a heart. The design is presented as an impressionistic style oil painting. The background is filled with very nice texturing which mimics tropical forests. The coin is inscribed with “ST. LUCIA” at the top rim with the date "2018" at the bottom.
