Obverse: The obverse features the famous Texas Star in the foreground. A textured geographical shape of the state of Texas fills the background behind the smooth illustration of the star. The year "2013" is engraved in the space southwest of the Rio Grande River. “TEXAS” arches boldly across the top, with “PRECIOUS METALS” inscribed across the bottom.

Reverse: The reverse portrays a Texas Cowboy riding horseback in full gallop with lasso extended. The weight of "1 TROY OZ" and composition of “.9999 FINE SILVER” are inscribed at the bottom.
