2012 3 Oz American Mint Set Commander in Chief Rounds PF

Rare American Mint solid silver set.  Very limited mintage.

Obverse: The set commemorates three notable presidents who guided the nation during times of war, George Washington, Abraham Lincoln, and Franklin Roosevelt. Each medallion in the series features an engraving of the president, the war and year the war ended, the name of the president, and an engraved autograph.  

Reverse: The central feature on the reverse is the presidential shield of the United States. Surrounding the shield is the text from the United States Constitution which delineates the President as the Commander in Chief of the Army and Navy. Sprigs of ivy are located below the text on the outer edge.  

Edge: Each of the medallions is marked on the edge with "1 OZ FINE SILVER".
