2012 1 Oz Somali Elephant Dragon Privy BU

Low mintage Privy.  

Obverse: The obverse depicts the coat of arms for Somalia. The coat of arms consists of a shield with a single star that is being held by two upright leopards, which are standing on large crossed spears below them. “SOMALI REPUBLIC” is inscribed above the shield and the face value of "100 SHILLINGS below it. The year the coin was minted, "2012", is split on either side of the shield with the first two digits to the left and the last two to the right.

Reverse: The reverse features a bull elephant with an elephant herd and a baobab tree in the background. The phrase “AFRICAN WILDLIFE” is inscribed at the top while “ELEPHANT” can be found at the lower left. The weight and composition of "1 OZ AG 999" are inscribed at the lower right. The Dragon privy is located to the left.
