The second year of a very rare world bullion series. Standard bullion mintage for 2010 was 5,000. Mintage for the gilded variety is unknown but probably in the 100s. Rare!
Obverse: The obverse features the image of the snow leopard standing on a rock looking to the right. The snow leopard is a national symbol for Tatars and Kazakhs. The upper inscription reads "SILVER IRBIS" in both Kazakh and English. The date "2010" is located to the left, while the composition and weight of "AG 999.9 1 OZ" is inscribed along the rim at the lower right. The snow leopard is gilded in 24K gold.
Reverse: The reverse features the coat of arms of the Republic of Kazakhstan. It is framed with a national ornamental pattern. The denomination of "1 TENGE" can be found at the bottom. Along the rim, “NATIONAL BANK OF KAZAKHSTAN" is inscribed in both Kazakh and Russian. The inscription is separated by dots.
