1 Oz South East Refining Eagle Trade Round BU

Hard to find vintage round.

Obverse: The obverse features an eagle similar to that on the seated liberty dollar. The eagle is perched on an olive branch and holds three arrows. The name of the mint "SOUTH EAST REFINING, INC." is inscribed at the top while the lower inscription bears the weight of "1 TROY OUNCE".

Reverse:  The central feature on the reverse is the scales, an image found on many trade unit silver rounds. The scales are a simpler design than many other trade rounds and are tilted at an angle. Above the scales is the inscription "S.E.R. .999 FINE SILVER" which denotes the initials of the mint and the composition of the round. The lower inscription contains the location of the mint "P.C. FLA.".
