1 Oz Oregon Mint John Wayne Round BU

Hard to find limited mintage.

Obverse: The obverse depicts an image of John Wayne with a banner with stars in the background. His name, "JOHN WAYNE" is inscribed at the top. About midway below the Star banner are the dates "1907" on the left and "1979" on the right. The phrase "A GREAT AMERICAN" is inscribed at the bottom. 

Reverse: The reverse depicts one of the standard reverses for the Oregon Mint. It shows the outline of the state of Oregon with the name "THE OREGON MINT" inscribed over it. To the bottom right of the state outline is the mint mark of "O.M.". The inscription at the top reads "LIMITED EDITION" while the weight, purity, and content of "ONE TROY OUNCE - 999 FINE SILVER" is inscribed at the bottom.
