Obverse: The obverse features the figures of generals Robert E. Lee and Thomas J. (Stonewall) Jackson mounted on horses reviewing the Confederate armies. The motto "IN GOD WE TRUST" is inscribed at the top surrounded by thirteen stars. The inscription "STONE MOUNTAIN 1925" can be found at the lower left.
Reverse: The central feature of the reverse is an eagle, emblematic of liberty, poised on a mountain crag with stars dimly visible in the background. The motto "E PLURIBUS UNUM" can be found at the upper left while directly beneath it is the inscription "MEMORIAL TO THE VALOR OF THE SOLDIER OF THE SOUTH". The word "LIBERTY" is inscribed at the base of the rock. At the top, around the outer edge is the inscription denoting the purity and content which reads "COMMEMORATIVE .999 FINE SILVER". The weight of "ONE TROY OUNCE" is located at the bottom.
Edge: The edge is smooth and bears a 4-digit serial number beginning with the letter "K". Each round is individually numbered.
