Description
The Danbury Mint produced a series of personalized rounds called Birth Year. Each silver round featured the president during that year and came with a card and a personalized wooden box.
Obverse: The obverse design features a left-facing bust of Dwight Eisenhower. The word "LIBERTY" is inscribed at the top, and the year "1956" can be found at the bottom. The name "EISENHOWER" is micro-inscribed to the left, and the title "34TH PRESIDENT" is to the right.
Reverse: The central design on the reverse is the presidential seal of the United States. The weight, purity, and content of "ONE TROY OUNCE .999 FINE SILVER" is located at the bottom. The mint mark of "D/M" is centered within it.
