Obverse: The design on the obverse is the chemical symbol for silver "AG" represented by how it might appear on the periodic table.  Information that might be found on a periodic table of the elements is also inscribed.  Above the central image is the phrase "DISCOVERED IN 5000 BC" while "MELTING POINT 1763 F" can be found below.

Reverse: The central image on the reverse is the fraction "1/10" which designates the weight.  Circumscribing the fraction is a circle of 24 stars. The purity and content of ".999 FINE SILVER" is located at the top while the weight of "ONE TENTH  TROY OUNCE" is found at the bottom, again specifying the weight.
