Pressburg Mint

The Pressburg Mint is a modern private company that is reviving the minting history in Bratislava, the capital city of Slovakia. The city received the right of coinage in 1430 and once minted coins for the Holy Roman Empire and the Austro-Hungarian empire. Although the last historical mint ceased operations in the 18th century, the right of coinage was never abolished. Pressburg Mint was created in 2015 to continue this rich tradition.

That same year, Pressburg Mint entered the collectible coin market by creating the Chronos series. The Terra, Equilibrium, and Vivat Humanitas series followed soon after.  From 2015 through 2018, Pressburg Mint issued those series as a private mint.  Beginning in 2019, those series were minted under the authority of Tokelau and became legal tender coins. Pressburg Mint continues to create uniquely designed products and is also involved in cutting edge 3D printed coins. All products are minted with .9999 Fine Silver and the nominal average weight of a 1 Oz product is 31.31g. The mint is ISO certified.
