Osborne Mint

Osborne Mint is a division of Osborne Coinage. Since 1835, Osborne Coinage Company has been a source for custom minting of silver and copper rounds, coins, key tags, medals, challenge coins, and personalized tokens. Based in Cincinnati, Osborne is the oldest private mint in the United States. Osborne makes products for many industries and applications, including safety coins, awards, Mardi Gras doubloons, employee gifts, commemorative coins, political memorabilia, souvenirs, numismatic quality silver rounds, and silver bullion.

Osborne has collaborated with some of the top companies in the world, including General Mills, Shell, and McDonald's. In 2018, Osborne minted over 4 million coins to help celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Big Mac. Recently Osborne Coinage began focusing on high-quality collectible coins by partnering with Franklin Mint. Osborne currently produces numismatic rounds and select currencies for several countries’ central banks. In 2023, they began minting a one-ounce .999 fine silver buffalo round intended for the silver bullion market.

Besides the buffalo round, Osborne Mint has minted bullion rounds for other companies such as Rogues Island Mint. Finishes range from BU to proof-like. All silver products were minted with .999 Fine Silver. Osborne's mint mark, when present, are the letters "OM" separated by a horizontal line.
