The European Mint was established in Tallinn, Estonia in 2013. It is a private company that trades in gold, silver, platinum, palladium, collectible, and bullion coins. Although its primary focus is operating as a vendor for worldwide bullion, it has also minted coins and rounds in-house. 

The European Mint worked with the government agencies of Chad, Niue, and Tokelau to mint legal tender coins for those nations. The Heraldic Series, the Jolly Roger series, and the Cryptocurrency series are among the offerings European Mint produces on behalf of sovereign nations. Additionally, the European Mint has minted its version of the Buffalo round. Except for the Buffalo round, all minted coins were made with .9999 Fine Silver.
