Obverse: The obverse depicts the sixth portrait, designed by Jody Clark, of Queen Elizabeth II facing right and wearing the King George IV State Diadem and the Victorian Coronation Necklace. She is encircled by text around the outer rim which includes her name "ELIZABETH II" at the upper left and the issuing country "AUSTRALIA" at the upper right. The face value of the coin "1 DOLLAR" can be found at the lower right, while the weight, purity, and content of "1 OZ 9999 AG" are inscribed at the lower left. The background has a smooth, frosted finish.

Reverse:  The reverse portrays two rabbits. One is seated beneath a branch and alert to all possible dangers. The other stands on its hind legs, smelling the overhanging branch above.. To the right is the Chinese character of the rabbit with the inscription "RABBIT 2023" immediately below. The Perth Mint's "P" mint mark is located at the lower right near the rim. The background has a smooth, frosted finish.
