2022 1 Oz Stacks Bowers Griffin Round BU

Stack's Bowers is an auction house and coin dealer that has been dealing with world coins and currency since 1933. They were originally known as Bowers Merena. In the 1980's and 1990's they minted silver rounds under this name. This new advertising round was issued in 2022.  The mint and mintage are unknown, but the round is scarce.

Obverse: The obverse features a winged griffin, the symbol associated with the company. The swirling background resembles the scales of a dragon. The date "2022" is located inside a box at the bottom.

Reverse: The central feature on the reverse is the name "STACK'S BOWERS". The background is the same as the background on the obverse. The weight of "ONE TROY OUNCE" is inscribed on a banner at the top. A banner containing the purity and content of ".999 FINE SILVER" at the bottom matches the one at the top.
