Description
Limited mintage of 50,000.
Obverse: The obverse features the emblem of the Democratic Republic of the Congo. This design shows a leopard face with an elephant tusk to the left and a spear on the right. The upper inscription reads "REPUBLIQUE DEMOCRATIQUE DU CONGO" with the date "2021" found immediately below. The denomination of "1000 FRANCS" is located at the bottom.
Reverse: The reverse of the coins depicts the shoebill stork staring intently ahead. The caption at the top reads "SHOEBILL STORK" and the date "2021" is located on the left. The weight, purity, and content of "1 TROY OUNCE .999 FINE SILVER” is found at the right.
