2020 1 Oz RAM Year of the Rat BU

Obverse: The obverse depicts the Jody Clark effigy of Queen Elizabeth II within a decoratively framed circular inset. Inscriptions encircling the inside rim include, "ELIZABETH II", "AUSTRALIA 2020", and "1 DOLLAR" Encircling the outer rim are images of the 12 animals that comprise the Chinese lunar calendar, with the Rat positioned at the top.

Reverse: The reverse features a single rat. It is standing among a fruited lychee branch. The inclusion of the lychee is customary for the wishing of good luck for the Chinese New Year. Inscriptions include the Chinese character for "rat", "YEAR OF THE RAT", and the weight, purity, and content of "1 OZ .999 AG".
