2019 1 Oz Congo DR Wildlife Giraffe BU

First year of the series.  Limited mintage of 30,000.

Obverse: The obverse depicts a giraffe galloping through the African Savannah with clouds and trees in the background. The words “THE GIRAFFE” are minted at the top with “WORLD’S WILDLIFE” at the bottom with an outline of Africa in between the words.

Reverse: The reverse features a leopard’s face in the center with a tusk to its left and a spear on its right. The coat of arms contains the words  “JUSTICE”, “PAIX”, and “TRAVAIL”. The date of "2019" is split and minted on either side of the design, with “1 OZ AG 999.9” below it. Around the edge of the coin are the words “REPUBLIQUE DEMOCRATIQUE DU CONGO” and the denomination of “20 FRANCS”.
