Description
Obverse: The obverse portrays the right-profile portrait of Queen Elizabeth II. Her Majesty is the longest reigning monarch in British history, surpassing her great-great-grandmother Queen Victoria I for the title. This is the fifth-generation design from Ian Rank-Broadley of the Royal Mint and was created in 1998. Around the edge are the inscriptions "ELIZABETH II", "AUSTRALIA 2018", and the face value of "1 DOLLAR".
Reverse: The reverse portrays a swan on calm waters with a cygnet swimming close by its side. Inscriptions around the rim include "THE 1 OZ 9999 AUSTRALIAN" at the top and "SILVER SWAN" at the bottom.
