2018 1 Oz Australia Bird of Paradise BU

Obverse:  The obverse portrays the right-profile portrait of Queen Elizabeth II. Her Majesty is the longest reigning monarch in British history, surpassing her great-great-grandmother Queen Victoria I for the title. This is the fourth-generation design from Ian Rank-Broadley of the Royal Mint and was created in 1998. Around the edge are the inscriptions "ELIZABETH II", "AUSTRALIA 2018", and the face value of "1 DOLLAR".

Reverse: The reverse portrays the Australian Silver Bird of Paradise known as Victoria’s riflebird as it takes off in flight from a branch. Inscriptions around the rim include "AUSTRALIAN BIRD OF PARADISE" at the top and the weight, purity, and content of "1 OZ 9999 SILVER" at the bottom.
