Obverse: On the obverse of the Anguilla Coin is the effigy of Queen Elizabeth II. This coin collection uses the fourth-generation right-profile portrait from Ian Rank-Broadley, created in 1998. The effigy is surrounded by two feathers. Inscribed around the outer edge of the obverse is the term "EASTERN CARIBBEAN CENTRAL BANK" from left to right across the top. From left to right across the bottom are the purity "1 OZ .999 FINE SILVER", "QUEEN ELIZABETH II", and the denomination "TWO DOLLARS".
Reverse: The reverse is filled with a stylized lobster design. It is surrounded by a very active flair of swirling ocean waves and water droplets. Encircling the rim is a series of dots that become increasingly smaller as they descend toward the bottom of the rim. Inscriptions include “ANGUILLA” in large type at the top and the year in one of the lobster’s shell segments.
