Obverse: The obverse of the Girdle of Hippolyta 1 Oz round features Hippolyta holding a spear in her left hand. She looks intently to the right preparing for what is about to come. The inscription at the right reads “GIRDLE OF HIPPOLYTA” and beside her hand to the right is the Roman numeral “IX”.

Reverse: The common reverse of the 12 Labors of Hercules series carries the left-facing profile of Hercules holding his wooden club. The weight and purity are inscribed around the rim with the phrase "1 OZ CMXCIX FINE SILVER".
