First year of issue.  Limited mintage of 300,000 and hard to find.  Only year of .999 FS purity.

Obverse: The Ian Rank-Broadley portrait of Queen Elizabeth II, which is encircled by her name "ELIZABETH II", the name of the issuing country "AUSTRALIA", and the face value of the coin "1 DOLLAR".

Reverse: The motif is a hopping kangaroo with a sunburst pattern surrounded by wavy lines. The inscription at the top is "AUSTRALIAN KANGAROO". The inscription of "2015 1 OZ 999 SILVER" found at the bottom denotes the year, weight, content, and purity.
