Description
There are quite a few series of rounds commemorating the Chinese Zodiac. This particular round is quite uncommon and the series appears to have only been minted in 2012 and 2013. Mason Mint produced the rounds.
Obverse: The central image on the obverse is a dragon flying through the sky with clouds in the background. To the upper right, the Chinese character for dragon is inscribed. The date can be found at the bottom.
Reverse: The central feature on the reverse is the text "2012 YEAR OF THE DRAGON". the Chinese character for dragon is inscribed immediately below. The weight of "ONE TROY OUNCE" is located at the upper left while the purity and content of ".999 FINE SILVER" can be found at the upper right. Scrollwork decorates the lower edges of the round.
