2006 1/10 Oz Ronald Reagan Dime Tribute Round BU

This round was issued in 2005 and 2006 to honor the death of Ronald Reagan.  The rounds recreate the Roosevelt dime by replacing the image of Roosevelt with that of Reagan.  It was sold by a company called Washington Monetary Authority which also issued a 1 Oz Reagan commemorative round in 2004. Not much is known about this company or the mint that produced the round.  The rounds are hard to find.

Obverse: The central feature on the obverse shows the left-facing bust of Ronald Reagan. The word "LIBERTY" is inscribed along the rim to the left. Beneath the bust is the motto "IN GOD WE TRUST" while the date can be found at the lower right.

Reverse: The reverse displays a torch with an olive branch on the left and an oak branch on the right. The torch signifies liberty, the olive branch peace, and the oak branch represents strength and independence. "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA" is inscribed from left to right across the top of the round. The motto "E. PLURIBUS UNUM" is located beneath the central images and is interspersed among the stems and base of the torch. The purity and content of ".999 FINE SILVER" are inscribed at the bottom replacing the denomination on a dime.
