2000 1 Oz NorFed Liberty Dollar Type 3 Round BU

The obverse on the Type 3 round is the new version for the year 2000. Notable differences from 1999 include the position of the T in TRUST (much closer to the neck), the shape of the hair lock (slightly thicker), the head is slightly larger, a thicker rim, and more detail in the hair.

Obverse: The obverse features the left-facing bust of Lady Liberty. The word "LIBERTY" is inscribed both on Lady Liberty's coronet as well as near the top of the round. The phrase "TRUST IN GOD" appears near the lower right of the round, differing slightly from the phrase "In God We Trust" inscribed on legal US coins. On the bottom of the round's obverse, the inscription "USA" is also included.

Reverse: The central feature of the reverse is Liberty's fiery torch surrounded by several inscriptions.  The upper inscription reads "AMERICAN LIBERTY CURRENCY" while the lower one specifies the denomination of "TEN DOLLARS". The phrase "LIBERTY DOLLAR" is split by the torch. The date "2000" can be found to the left of the torch while the denomination, composition, and weight of "$10 / SILVER / ONE OUNCE / .999 FINE" is located to the right. The phrase "© NORFED 2000" is micro-inscribed at the bottom.
