1994 1 Oz Sealand $1 Orca Round PF

Sealand is an independent state located off the coast of Great Britain. In 1994, they issued the Orca series coins.  Denominations ranged from 25 cents to $2.50. The $1 denomination was minted with .999 Fine Silver and had a mintage of 20,000.  Very rare round!

Obverse: The obverse an orca leaping out of the ocean. A simple line represents the surface of the sea.  The inscription at the top reads "TREASURES OF THE SEA" while the name "ORCA" can be found at the bottom. 

Reverse: The central feature of the reverse is the coat of arms for the Principality of Sealand. The date "1994" is found immediately below. The name "PRINCIPALITY OF SEALAND" is inscribed at the top and the denomination of "SILVER ONE DOLLAR" is located at the bottom.
