Very rare counterstrike Honolulu Dala.
Obverse: The obverse depicts a statue of King Kamehameha. Dressed in royal garb, he holds a spear in his left hand. Inscribed around the edge are the phrases "KAMEHAMEHA THE GREAT" at the left and "KINGDOM OF HAWAII" at the right. "CIRCA 1758" is inscribed immediately to the left of the statue. Immediately to the right is a circular counterstrike that is a replica of the Liliuokalani round.
Reverse: The central image on the reverse is a volcano with a palm tree at the left. The sun sets in the background. At the upper right is the date "1990". Immediately under the image of the volcano is an inscription that specifies the weight, purity, and content of "ONE TROY OUNCE 999 FINE SILVER". The phrase "HONOLULU DALA" is inscribed below that. The mint mark "RHM" is located at the bottom. In between the palm tree and the volcano is a circular stamp that reads "ROYAL HAWAIIAN MINT HONOLULU" along with the phrase "GRAND OPENING 6-9-90".
