Description
Hard to find Coeur d'Alene Mines freedom round.
Obverse: The central image is a worker collecting molten metal in a wheeled cart. Inscribed at the top is "ROCHESTER SILVER-GOLD MINE". It is matched by the denomination of "ONE SILVER FREEDOM" which is inscribed below the image. The dedication inscription micro-printed below the image reads " DEDICATED/OCTOBER 18, 1986/1 TROY OUNCE/.999 FINE SILVER". The date is located at the top and the name of the mine "COEUR D'ALENE MINES" is inscribed below the central image.
Reverse: The central motif on the reverse is a mine shaft, symbolic of Coeur d'Alene Mines. The date, 1987 is spit on either side of the shaft and the name of the mine "COEUR D'ALENE MINES" is inscribed below the central image.
Edge: The edges of the round are smooth. All Coeur d'Alene Mine coins have serial numbers inscribed along the edge.
