1982 1 Oz Republic Mint Conch Republic Round BU

Hard to find vintage round. Issued in 1982 to commemorate the secession of the Conch Republic from the United States.

Obverse: The obverse features the map of the island along with the Conch Republic flag. The motto "LIBERTY" is inscribed beneath the map. The mint's name, "REPUBLIC MINT" is micro-inscribed below the motto. 

Reverse: The central feature on the reverse is a conch. Interlocking sheaves of wheat can be found below the central image. The date "APRIL 23, 1982" is inscribed directly underneath the conch. The name "CONCH REPUBLIC" arches across the top, while the weight of "ONE TROY OUNCE" can be found at the lower left. The composition of .999 FINE SILVER" is inscribed at the lower right.
