1982 1 Oz Columbia Mint Washington Round PF

Only known silver round produced by Columbia Mint.

Obverse: The obverse depicts a right-facing figure of George Washington.  His name is inscribed from the 8 o'clock to the 1 o'clock position.  Directly beneath the image is the date, 1982.  Two stars fill in the gap on the outer circle between the date and the beginning of the name while six stars fill the gap on the other side of the date.   

Reverse: The central feature on the reverse is the presidential seal of the United States.  Surrounding the seal is the inscription commemorating the anniversary of Washington's birth which reads "TWO HUNDRED FIFTIETH ANNIVERSARY".  The dates 1732 and 1982 are inscribed below the seal to the bottom left and bottom right respectively.  The purity, weight, and content of "1 OUNCE .999 FINE SILVER" is micro-printed across the top of the seal.
