1974 1 Oz Letcher Mint Eagle Round BU

Obverse: The central image is a stylized heraldic eagle, a design used by several different mints during the 1970's. The content of "ONE TROY OUNCE" is inscribed in a box below the eagle.  

Reverse: The reverse is taken up with the following inscription "ONE TROY OUNCE .999 FINE SILVER STRUCK IN THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA BY THE LETCHER MINT CERTIFIED WEIGHT AND QUALITY".  Below the inscription is a scripted signature "A. LETCHER".  The date of "1974" is located below the signature.
