Description
From the Life of Lincoln Set. Only 600 .999 Fine Silver sets were minted. Rare!
Obverse: The obverse depicts the Lincoln family in front of their log cabin. Abraham Lincoln is held in his mother's arms. The upper inscription reads "THE LIFE OF LINCOLN" while the lower one states "KENTUCKY BIRTH". Two stars on either side along the outer rim separate the inscriptions.
Reverse: The reverse contains a quote from Abraham Lincoln relating to his birth, upbringing, and ancestry. The upper inscription states "KENTUCKY BIRTH". Interlocking laurel leaves decorate the lower edges of the round.
Edge: The edge is reeded except for a smooth portion at the bottom of the round. The smooth portion contains the purity and content of "999 F.S." along with a 3-digit serial number.
