1 Oz TenTex Statue of Liberty Round BU

Rare TenTex silver round.

Obverse: The central image on the obverse is the Statue of Liberty with an upraised arm. A partial image of the flag of the United States provides the backdrop with 18 stars and 6 bars. Sheaves of wheat decorate the outer rim to the left and the right. The upper inscription bears the purity and content of ".999 FINE SILVER". The weight of "ONE TROY OUNCE 31.1 GRAMS" can be found inscribed at the bottom.

Reverse: The central feature on the reverse is the trade scales, a common motif found on many trade unit silver rounds.  Five stars flank the scales to either side.  The inscription located at the top is "THE INTERNATIONAL" and it is matched by "SILVER TRADE UNIT" which is centered at the bottom.  The purity of ".999 FINE" is inscribed below the top inscription. The mint mark of an outlined "T" is located directly below the central image of the scales and directly below that is the weight of "31.1 GRAMS".
